EFFECT OF AEROBIC EXERCISE ON PHYSICAL FUNCTION INDICES IN THE ELDERLY

ABSTRACT Introduction China is currently experiencing the problem of population aging, and health status elderly has become a major focus social attention. Objective Study effect aerobic exercise on indices physical function in elderly. Methods 40 people performed 5 times week for 8 weeks. Each lasted 60 minutes, including 10 minutes warm-up, (running, brisk walking, square dancing, among other activities), final cool-down. Data measurement included body indices, cardiopulmonary function, blood markers, capacity. Results Aerobic can effectively improve shape, lipid content elderly, their flexibility quality, enhancing activities daily living. Conclusion The results this study show that performance living, optimizing indexes. Engaging to participate should be considered by community workers.
